Tryouts for Japan Trip 2024

It was a very good experience. I was very inspired by the high level of Japanese players. この遠征において、沢山のスタッフの皆様のサポートに心より感謝しております。 遠征前からZoomや練習の機会を作って下さり、チームメイトとも仲良くなれました。 遠征中は日本の厳しい気候の中、選手と家族のサポートをして下さりありがとうございました。

It was Hunter’s first time to Japan and he was excited and nervous to play in a different country. The experience exceeded our expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. The MIA coaches and staff are all very organized, highly skilled, and supportive. Hunter learned the importance of discipline and new techniques that he was able to bring home with him. Soccer is indeed a universal language and through it Hunter gained a new appreciation for the game that we all love.

Great enjoyable experience for the whole family and events throughout trip were very well organized by all staffs and coaches!

Training and preparation for trip and tournaments were well-done by professional coaches.

Soccer tournaments were very competitive and Japan teams competed against were better than any club team on the island. Great eye-opener and overall an invaluable experience.

Our family and son had a great experience to travel with MIA’s coaches to Japan this summer. The team got to play at least 8 games against different Japanese teams. This opportunity gave the players/team to experience different soccer level in Japan. We met many players and the coaches and they were so nice and very welcoming players from United States. We loved everything about this trip (hotels, food, culture and watching our son playing the games). The trip was very well organized and planned by the coaches and volunteers. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience for our son and family’s first trip together to Japan. We hope that MIA coaches will plan something like this again next summer and we hope our boy get select to go to Japan again.

The trip to Japan with MIA Elite Academy was amazing. Kohki and his team worked hard to plan a great itinerary with a wide range of experiences from authentic restaurants to touring a professional soccer stadium. A highlight for us was interacting with the families from the Perna team. They were very welcoming and generous, and they gave our players the opportunity to have a local Japanese experience. Overall, it was a great opportunity for our son to play against highly skilled teams while learning so much about Japan.

It was more than just a soccer tournament trip! Many fun programs were planned to spend time with the Japanese local players and their families, and they were amazing. Even with language barriers, kids built a strong friendship by playing soccer and from the homestay experiences. The whole trip was very well-organized – Transportation, Food, Care for players’ condition and well-being, Accommodation, Supportive coaches and dedicating interns, Safety… you name it! My children grew so much over the trip. They learned that they can make friends through playing soccer and it really broadened their horizon. They love soccer even more so! Thank you, MIA Elite Academy and everyone who made this trip such a wonderful one.

This summer 2023 trip was fantastic. The organization and planning were incredible and everything went so smoothly. The kids made new friends and played some very skilled, very challenging teams. Overall, it was a great experience.

I’ve been on many soccer trips and this was the BEST by far! Everything was 1st class from transportation, lodging, food, sightseeing and soccer competition. Would go again in a heartbeat. Kohki and staff are FANTASTIC! If you have the chance, DON’T miss out on this!!!
