MIA Girls Camp 2025

Empowering Future Female Athletes

What is MIA Girls Camp 2025?

The MIA Girls Camp 2025 is an innovative initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing future talent in girls’ soccer throughout Hawaii. This camp welcomes participants of all skill levels, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages every aspiring player to thrive. Our primary objective is to identify promising athletes who exhibit potential and a passion for the game. By offering comprehensive training and mentorship, we aim to help these athletes grow within our program, contributing to the advancement of girls’ soccer in the state and inspiring a new generation of female athletes.

Empowering Dreams: Purpose of the Camp

Aligned with the success of our boys’ program, MIA SELECT, the purpose of the MIA Girls Camp is to scout, develop, and elevate Hawaii’s top female soccer prospects. Through collaborative training and personalized coaching, we strive to equip these young athletes with the skills and knowledge necessary for their future careers in soccer. Players identified as having exceptional talent during the camp will receive invitations to join our newly established girls’ program. This initiative will provide a structured pathway to elite training, competition, and professional development, mirroring the opportunities available to our boys’ participants.

Global Goals: Future Plans

In our ongoing commitment to player development, we are excited to announce plans for an elite international trip to Japan, scheduled for the summer following the camp. This exceptional development opportunity will include organized scrimmages against renowned Japanese girls’ clubs, allowing participants to gain invaluable experience in a highly professional environment. This journey will not only enhance their technical skills and tactical understanding but will also expose them to diverse playing styles and cultural perspectives, significantly enriching their soccer experience and personal growth.

Elite Leadership: Coaching Staff

The camp will be expertly led by Cyrus Ryuichi Tran, a former professional soccer player and proud ambassador of Hawaii’s soccer community. Cyrus brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, having developed a highly regarded boys’ program that has produced talented players who have advanced to prestigious academies. Notably, one of his players joined the Portland Timbers Academy, while another received a trial opportunity with the Seattle Sounders Academy. Under Cyrus’s leadership, participants in the MIA Girls Camp will benefit from his expertise, dedication, and commitment to fostering the future of our girls’ program, ensuring that each athlete receives the guidance and support necessary to reach their full potential.
